Before & After.....

Alright, I'm pretty much done with my desk makeover. I only changed a few things, but sitting there today, I felt so much more comfortable. A little bit goes a long way. I'll add to it as time passes, but I'm pleased. I only spent about about $15 and most of that went to the rug. I reworked the bulletin board, made a pillow out of the remaining fabric, tea stained some doilies, made the little motivational sign above the bulletin board and brought a bunch of stuff I had stored at my mom's house. The desk chair was sitting in my room at my mom's house. So much better than the squeaky gray chair from before. I am was not allowed to put any holes in the walls or paint the desk, but that's okay. It's definitely a start!

Thank you for your suggestions, they helped a bunch!

Your desk looks great and I bet it does feel so much better! I would love to be in the Show us your prettiest pumpkin, the only problem is I'm not sure how to do the link, do I just type it here or do I have to send you something. Sorry I haven't done this before. Please let me know.

It's a good feeling to spiff things up a bit, isn't it? You've done a nice job adding a few creative touches. It looks great.
Thanks for visiting and saying hello. It's nice to meet you :)
I'm really enjoying the butterfly bush. Love the musky smell and the butterflies it brings. The bi-color one sounds interesting.
