I did pick up the cutest little shelf this week. It has hand painted roses and a blue bird on it. The antiques shop owner called it a rickety little thing, but I said, "it's okay, that's why they call it Shabby Chic. " He looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well.
That "rickety little thing" is way too lovely! Wish I could find some gorgeous shabby piece like that one for my reading room... :)

ReplyDeleteTheresa- It's going to serve as my dainty little nightstand next to my bed. I probably won't put much on it because I love the hand painted embellishments so much though.
